We created a short video to help explain about ordering flowers for a funeral. We have found that our local funeral homes websites have links to websites for flowers that are not local! The order is then sent to us or the other shop in town and then we only receive 70% of the order value for filling the order!! A lot of the time we have to reject the order because we do not have the flowers or are not given enough money to make the arrangement look like their picture. We realize that their little link at the bottom of the obituary is convenient but we worry that you will not get the arrangement that you were hoping to send!! When you call a local flower shop, they can tell you if they have the flowers available or not. Or, if you like ordering online, do a quick Google search for a flower shop in the town you need to send them to - remember to skip the ones at the top of the page that are the "order gathers" and look for a local shop. When you get on their website look for info on the owner and what their physical address is - you want to make sure you are dealing with a local shop!!
